William Harrison Eddington

York, SC – Mr. William Harrison Eddington, 77, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at Whitesell Funeral Home Chapel, 975 Riverview Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730 at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2023, with Dr. Joseph Morrison officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service.

Born in Fort Mill, SC, Mr. Eddington was the son of the late Blanche and Dotsy Eddington.  He loved to go fishing off the Spring Maid Pier with his family.  He loved hunting with the guys and working.  He never met a stranger.  He gave his life to God twenty-four years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie Eddington; his daughters, Cammie (Ben) Bailey, Kathy (Chuck) Payne, Lisa (Billy) Puckett and Denise (Ray) Worley; his sons; Josh (Jessica) Eddington, Chris (Teresa) Eddington and Timothy Eddington; twenty one grandkids and 30 great grandkids.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, George, LC, Arnold, Albert, Tommy and Frank Eddington; and his sisters, Sally Loyd and Marysue Cliett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Eddington’s name, to Levine Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorder at 1001 Blythe Boulevard Unit 601, Charlotte, NC 28203.
