Thomas Harold Lucid, Jr.

Indian Land, SC – Thomas Harold Lucid, Jr., age 77, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Atrium Health Pineville.

Thomas was born to the late Thomas Harold Lucid, Sr. and the late Jane Wilczewski Lucid in South River, New Jersey.  He was retired from New Jersey’s Manufactor Insurance Company and was an Army Veteran.  He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed playing the accordion.  He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and loved country music.  He also enjoyed reading and loved his family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229.  

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Johanna Murdock Lucid; one son, Thomas Lucid (Karina); one daughter, Jackie Emanuel (Michael); one brother, Ronald Lucid (Martha); four grandchildren, Abigail, Nina and Sydney Emanuel and Cordelia Lucid.  He is also survived by a brother-in-law, William Freeman and sister-in-law Barbara Freeman.
