Richard Lee Craig

Mr. Richard Lee Craig, 82 of Rock Hill South Carolina, died November 6th in his home.  He was surrounded by his wife and family. He was born on October 10, 1941 to the late Archibald Craig and Virginia Craig he now rejoins them in the Kingdom of Heaven. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Craig, His eldest daughter Dawne Craig, His daughter Sunni Craig Gould and husband Matt Gould, stepdaughter, Debra Hoffman and husband Robert Hoffman. And preceded in death, Stepdaughter Dana Timmons. His 6 precious grandchildren will miss him greatly who are Kyra and Adam Gould, Coleman and Anna Lee Hoffman, DezmondWingate and Annalise Gonzaga.  His loving sister-in-law Barbara Slemp and bother-in-law Bill Coleman were close to him and a big source of support. He was a Veteran of the US Army 101 Air Borne and served as a LURP on special forces.  He loved his family, numerous extended families, and friends of all ages.  He was a generous man and was his happiest helping others. He never expected anything in return.  Richard was always active and truly appreciated the simple things in life.  He enjoyed laying in the sun, boating, working in the yard and traveling.  He always told friends his adventures overseas.  A Drop In will be held at his home; 3306 India Hook Road, Rock Hill South Carolina; Saturday November 11th from 2-6pm. Graveside services will be private and held later at Grandview Memorial Park in Rock Hill, South Carolina  Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) on his behalf.
