Obituary

Raymond “Ray" Thomas Gosselin, 86, of Charlotte passed away on Saturday July 30, 2022 following a period of declining health.

Ray was born on November 4, 1935 in New Bedford, MA to the late Charles and Eileen Vincent Gosselin. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Fort Mill. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served at Hunter Air Force base in Georgia.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years Jackie Gosselin; brothers and their wives Charles “Charlie" and Mary, Don and Marion, Mark and Betty; and infant daughter Renee.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children Michelle Wickiser and husband Brook of Greenville, SC; sons Dan Gosselin and wife Kay of Stanley NC, Mike Gosselin of Bremerton, WA; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held on Saturday August 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Fort Mill. The family will greet friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
