Nancy S Hein

Nancy Hein, 88, died peacefully at her home on May 25, 2020. Born in Long Beach, NY on March 14, 1932 she lived in Ellenville, Brooklyn and Bethpage NY before moving to Indian Land, SC in 2007. Her parents, Ernest and Agnes (DeBari) Srulowitz, preceded her in death.

Nancy was very active in her Sun City Carolina Lakes neighborhood. A member of the Red Hats, Social Singles, Day Trippers, Tri State Club, Cooking Fingers and many more. She always had a beautiful smile for all she met.

She is survived by her brother Lou Shor of Belle Harbor, NY, son Marc Pileggi and wife Patti of Rutland, VT, daughter Valerie Sabato and husband John of Lancaster SC, and son Richard Pileggi and wife Laurie of Kinnelon, NJ.

She was a loving Meema to Gregory, Matthew, Carly, Rachel, Michael, Steven, Daniel and Alicia.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Palmetto Funeral Home, Fort Mill. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Lancaster Animal Shelter Supporters of South Carolina (LASS of SC)
