Mahesh Ranchodbhai Patel

Mahesh R. Patel, 72, of Edison, NJ, peacefully went to be with God on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at home with his loving wife of 47 years, Mira Patel. He was born on April 20, 1948 in Ahmedabad, India, youngest son of the late Ranchodbhai and Jayaben Patel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Rikin Patel, his eldest sister, Shardaben Patel, and his eldest brother, Mahendrabhai Patel.

He was a kind, gentle and loving person, who prided himself on making humble life after immigrating to the US in 1983. His biggest accomplishment was raising two strong and successful daughters, Sirali Kewalramani and Roma Patel, who he now leaves with his lasting legacy.

Mahesh is also survived by his loving son-in-laws, Dev Kewalramani and Shakti Patel, his cherished grandchildren, Shiv and Rhea Kewalramani as well as his 4 siblings, Panna Patel, Bharat Patel, Mina Patel, and Varsha Patel.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the nurses, physicians and staff who took care of him during his time in Fort Mill, SC, and to his beloved family and friends for their unwavering support and compassionate care that was provided.  Your kindness will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. til 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Palmetto Funeral Home of Fort Mill.
