Jody Albert Joyce

Jody Albert Joyce, 62, of Fort Mill passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 following a brief illness.

Jody was born on January 7, 1958 in Martinsville, VA to the late George Albert Joyce and Hazel Koger Joyce. He was a United States Navy Veteran and following his service he worked as a mechanic for American Airlines for 32 years. Jody enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching USC football, listening to the Eagles and traveling with his family especially to the beach. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 39 years, Sandra Joyce of Fort Mill; sons, Andrew “AJ” Joyce of Charlotte and Joshua Joyce of Fort Mill. Also surviving is his sister Vickie Turner and husband Ron of Conway, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at Palmetto Funeral Home, Fort Mill.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Collins-McKee- Stone Funeral Home in Bassett, VA. The family will receive friends and family from 12:00-1:00 PM before the service. Burial will follow at the Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery, Bassett, VA.
