Indian Land, SC – Mrs. Jeannine Marie Kent, 90, of Sun City Carolina Lakes, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
Mrs. Kent was born on October 31, 1929 in Shreveport, Louisiana to George and Bessie Browne. As a young teenager she moved to Washington, DC where she met her future husband, William Delbert Kent and they were married in 1950. She was a proud mother and USMC wife, traveling the Country and World while raising five children.
She is survived by her husband, Colonel William D. Kent (USMC, Retired); a son, William D Kent, Jr.; four daughters, Susan Schmidt, LouAnne Masterson, Rebecca Bevilacqua, and Mary Kent Hawkins; five grandsons, Brian, Steven, Michael, Matthew and Billy; and two granddaughters, Amy and Melissa.
Services will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Indian Land, SC on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 12:00 p.m.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no guestbook will be available, however, the family will have cards and basket on hand for guests to write condolences.
