Jason Wayne Vess

Rock Hill – Mr. Jason Wayne Vess, 43, died Saturday, October 2, 2021. 

The family will receive friends 1:00 pm Friday, October 8, 2021, at Whitesell Funeral Home and other times at the home.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in our chapel with Pastor Jason Demby officiating.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park.  

A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Vess was the son of Harold Gene Vess and Margaret “Becky” Hicks Vess.  He loved riding motorcycles, four-wheeler and anything with a motor.  He will be remembered as a man who loved his children and attending family gatherings.  He enjoyed listening to Country, Gospel, and Rock and Roll music. 

Surviving in additions to his parents, are his daughter, Breanna Lessmeister-Vess; a son, Ashton Vess; his sister, Angela Covington (Clay); two nephews, Liam Covington and Kellan Covington; godmother, Everine Brooks.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bailey Sue Boothby Vess; his maternal grandparents, Guy and Beulah Vess; and his paternal grandparents, James and Margaret Hicks and Wesley and Elva Dalrymple, and godfather, Luther Brooks.
