Ileana Teresa Plaza-Marin

Ileana Plaza Marin, Age 62 of Charlotte, NC passed away at home on Thursday , August 13,2020 after battling pancreatic cancer for the last 20 months.  Ileana was born on March 9,1958  in Bahia De Caraquez, Ecuador. The daughter of Ramonita and Sergio Plaza .  She was married to Juan Marin for 29 years. Ileana was known for many things such as her delicious cooking her beautiful voice which animated many parties and also her dedication many years at St. Vincent de Paul as the choir director at Spanish mass every Sunday, as well as comforting anyone with that never ending heart warming  smile. Surviving are:  husband Juan Marin  And one daughter Maria Veronica Marin . Son in law Jose Montesdeoca .  Brothers Jorge,Sergio, Alberto, Patricio ,Héctor and Ricardo and sisters Patricia, Miriam and Beatriz.  Nieces and nephews Gabriela, Antonella, Valentina, Leonardo,Xiomara, Gabby, Gianna, Ana Patricia Karina Luis Alberto,Mickey,Jose Manuel , Maria Fernanda, Viviana, Dulce Maria Erika,Sergio and many more. She also leaves two loving dogs who never left her side and accompanied her in her final moments Molly a golden retriever and Rocky a blue pit bull. Ileana will be truly Missed and irreplaceable but we all know she put up one heck of a fight and is now resting  and is pain free with both of her parents.
