Helen Haighoui Kapikian

Helen H. Kapikian, 81, of Fort Mill passed away peacefully on Sunday July 19, 2020.  

Helen was born in Cambridge, MA to the late Yervant and Araxie Samoorian.   She was a former member of Saint Gregory The Enlightner Church, White Plains, NY and current member of Saint Sarkis Armenian Church, Charlotte, NC.  Helen was active in the church choir her entire life and loved singing. Through her involvement in the Armenian church, she met the love of her life, her late husband, Mark Kapikian.  They were devoted to their faith, each other and their family. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brother Malcom Samoorian.

She leaves behind her children, Melanie Hickey, Garo, Hygan, Manya Kapikian and four grandchildren.
