Rock Hill – Mrs. Doris Martin Deese, 77, of 4421 Highway 5, died Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Grandview Memorial Park Hollis Lakes.
A native of Conway, SC, Mrs. Deese was a daughter of the late James Bigham and Mary Magoline Rollins Bigham. Mrs. Deese loved to live an active life including actives like bowling, dancing, singing, clogging and playing horseshoes. She also enjoyed playing bingo, drawing, poker machines, playing poker and going fishing.
Surviving are her children, Terry Deese, Barbara Bryson, and Perry Deese, Jr. all of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Tasha Havens, Stanley Bryson, David Erdy, Daniel Erdy, Dustin Erdy and Anna Deese all of Rock Hill; and her great-grandchildren, Summer Maurer, Bryson Havens, Melissa Bryson, Asher Erdy, Kaycee Erdy, David Erdy, Paisley Erdy and Jordan Freeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Deese, Jr.; a brother, Carl Martin, Jr.; and a sister, Ruby Dover.
