Diane Patricia (Welch) Pauls

Diane Patricia Pauls, “DiDi”, age 59, of Indian Land, SC and formerly of South Plainfield, NJ, peacefully passed to her next life on June 5, 2020 in the presence of family. She was born on April 7, 1961 in Piscataway, NJ to Raymond and Catherine Welch. 

Diane was very fond of cruising, the beach and a good book. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her dogs and friends. She was a lifelong bowler, softball and New Jersey Devils fan. In high school Diane was a part of the Piscataway Super Chiefs Marching Band.

Diane was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Welch and her brother Raymond Welch.

She leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by her survivors, her father Raymond Welch, of Indian Land, SC, her brother Kevin Welch, of Spring Hill, FL; her beloved husband of 33 years Robert Pauls of Indian Land, SC; her three children her son, Ryan Pauls of West Windsor, NJ, two daughters,  Kelly Pauls of Silver Spring, MD, and Jaclyn Pauls of Dublin, Ireland; and many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends and family will be welcomed for Diane’s visitation on Tuesday June 9th from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Palmetto Funeral Home in Fort Mill, SC. The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday June 10th at 11:00 am at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the nurses, physicians and staff who provided unwavering compassionate and supportive care for Diane.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
