Ann Ising Grantham

Ann Ising Grantham peacefully passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the age of 66 after a courageous two-year battle against lung cancer. 

Ann was a 23 year resident of Tega Cay, S.C. born on December 15, 1953 in Texarkana, A.R. She is survived by her husband, William R. Grantham; her daughter Natalie N. Grantham; brother James Otto Ising Jr; sister-in-law Elaine Ising; and her beloved nieces and nephews Katie, Krissy, Stephanie, Ashley & Jay. She is predeceased by her father James Otto Ising Sr; and her mother Ina Dell Ising.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Her and Bill married in Tampa, FL in 1980 and spent 41 wonderful years together, 33 with their only child, the light of her world. She was known for her elaborately planned parties and functions, delicious homemade foods including her coveted Christmas fudge, vibrant social life, unmatchable generosity, love of tennis and incredible talent for arts and crafts.

She added a child-like sense of fun to any event and celebrated every occasion to it’s absolute fullest. Ann took the most pride in selflessly seeing others enjoy and she accomplished this to her very last breath.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Carolina Cornerstone Church, located at 1790 Gardendale Rd. All COVID precautions will be taken including required masks and temperature checks. Flowers welcome to the church and will be donated to a local assisted living facility in memory of Ann.
