Angeline Pizzuto Forte

Angeline, ‘Angie’ Forte, 96, peacefully entered her eternal reward on July 21,2020. She was surrounded by her loving family and passed away at her home in Fort Mill, SC.

Angie was born to Salvatore and Rose Pizzuto on January 19,1924 in Cleveland, Ohio.

While working as a seamstress for Cable Raincoat Company in Boston, MA she met and married Andrew J Forte. In the 1950’s, Angie was a woman with an entrepreneurial spirit. She owned and operated a retail toy store in Dedham,MA and a wig boutique in Canton, MA. She was a sales person at Hamilton’s Furniture in Braintree, MA and purchased and managed income property in South Boston.  

She and her late husband Andy J Forte raised a family of five and were also foster parents. Together they began Forte Real Estate in Canton,MA where they resided prior to moving to Fort Mill, SC.  Angie was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She had an exceptional gift of hospitality and was an amazing cook. Most of all she was a loving, caring and prayerful woman to her family and all who knew her. 

She is survived by her siblings Betty Donato of Canton, MA, Philip Pizzuto of Avon, MA and Joanne Pizzuto of New Port Richey, Florida and the late, Anthony Pizzuto, Joseph Pizzuto, Sam Pizzuto & Paul Pizzuto.

She was the beloved mother to John Forte of Wilmington,MA, Toni Forte Staiti of St. Augustine, FL, Andrea Forte of St. Augustine, FL, Angela Forte Trementozzi of Springfield,MO & Sam Forte of Fort Mill, SC.  She was lovingly known as Nana by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 

There will be a viewing at Palmetto Funeral Home 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC on Friday, July 24, 2020. Visitation hours 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Immediately following will be a life celebration service from 11 a.m.-12 pm and a  graveside ceremony.
