Agnes (Aggie) Conway Obituary

Rock Hill  – Mrs. Agnes “Aggie” Crawford Conway, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at the Wayne T Patrick Hospice House.

A native of Lyerly, GA, Mrs. Conway was a daughter of the late Clyde Constantine Crawford and Mary Goodson Crawford. Everyone who knew Aggie considered her a very classy lady and a true southern bell.  She was a lifelong member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a lady who put family first because they were always important to her.  She loved keeping in touch with friends over her Facebook page. 

Surviving is her daughter, Connie Howard and her husband, Jim; a sister, Mary Clyde Price; two grandchildren, Wade Wilson, Amanda Wilson and ; 5 step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Marie Wilson, Kylyn Victoria Wilson and Matthew James Wilson of Adams, Wisconsin; many step-great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild, Charlotte Mae Wilson.   She was preceded in death by a brother, Woodrow Crawford; six sisters,Nadine Ragland, Elizabeth Moore, Dorothy Burch, Margaret Barfield, Lucile Ferrell, and Marion Patterson; a grandson, James Wilson; and two great-grandchildren, Harlan Wilson and Rylan Wilson.

The family will receive friends at 11:00 am Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and a funeral service will follow at Noon with the Rev. Jeffery McWatters and Rev. Kenny Vinson officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
