Mrs. Jane Smith Robertson age 80 entered into eternal life on June 30th 2010 in Waxhaw, NC; Born in 1929 in Charlotte, NC a daughter of the late Floyd and Virginia Hamilton Smith. Mrs. Robertson was retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in Charlotte, NC and member of the Tega Cay Lions Club and Tega Cay Vintage Club and member of Carolina Covenant Church in Fort Mill.
Mrs. Robertson is survived by her daughter Marisa Robertson Bailey and husband Joe of Rock Hill; son Anthony Ray “Tony” Robertson and wife Cindy of Tega Cay; three brothers Melvin Smith of Monroe, NC; Eddie Smith of Shelby and Larry Smith of Charlotte, NC; one sister Eleanor Smith Ward of Maryland; two grandchildren Thomas Robertson and Lyndsey Fleming and husband Jeff; two great-grandchildren Jason and Logan Fleming. Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death of her late husband Donald Ray Robertson.
A Celebration of life Memorial Service will be held Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 7pm at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Mill with Rev. Bob Lang officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the Funeral Home.
