Dateline: Fort Mill, SC

Mr. Roderick Hall Rumreich, Age 65 formerly of Long Island, NY entered into eternal life Wednesday June 9, 2010 at his home. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Rumreich was the son of the late Adolf Rumreich and Edna Hall Rumreich. Mr. Rumreich was a self employed Banking Consultant, attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill,  was Distinguished Past President of the North Shore Kiwanis’s Club of Long Island, New York. He was past President of Sea Cliff Island Civic Association, long time board member of the North Shore Social Club and was Treasurer of St. Peters Cub Scout Troop.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Richter Rumreich of Fort Mill; one son; Richard Thomas Rumreich of Long Island, New York, one daughter; Kristina Elaine Rumreich of Long Island, New York; one sister; Elizabeth “Libby” Mottur and husband Allan of Massachusetts.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday June 19, 2010 at 9:30am at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill with Father John Giuliani C.O. officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00pm to 9:00pm Friday June 18, 2010 at Palmetto Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC  29708.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials  may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church c/o Building Fund, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill, SC  29715
