Rock Hill, SC - Thomas Anthony "Tony" Hendry, 66, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Levine Cancer Center in Charlotte.

Service and burial will be private

Tony was the son of Shirley B. Hendry and the late Thomas Ellis Hendry of Rock Hill. He was retired from Yellow Freight and was an avid runner. He ran many marathons including the Boston Marathon.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Shirley B. Hendry; are his son, Parker Anthony Hendry of Rock Hill; his sister, Debi Moses (Paul); his brother, Pat Hendry (Karen); and several neices and nephews all of Rock Hill. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ellis Hendry and his sister, Andra "Cissy" Clamp.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to his longtime friend and companion Terri Garrison for her compassion and care of Tony and to all of the nurses and doctors at Levine Cancer Center at Atrium Main who helped him fight for so long.
