Cynthia Jean Williams

Rock Hill, SC - Cynthia (Cindy) Jean Williams, 70, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Born in Rock Hill on February 19, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Artiss Eugene (Gene) Williams and Dorothy Mae Faile Williams.  Cindy enjoyed her Women’s Bible Study Group, shopping, word search puzzles, Myrtle Beach, and spending time with her family and close friends.  Cindy worked as an administrative assistant in the BCAS Division at York Technical College for over 28 years. She formed close, lifelong friendships that were precious to her throughout her years there and throughout her retirement.

Cindy is survived by her loving cousins on her mother’s side: Patsy, David, Marcia, Karen, Billy, Robert, Cathy, Rhonda, Dean, Harriett, Scott and Stephen, as well as their families. She is survived by her loving cousin, Ann, on her father’s side.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 2 pm at Park Ridge Baptist Church, 5099 Trotter Ridge Court Rock Hill, SC 29732 with Rev. Robert Faile officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00PM prior to the service and other times at the home of Karen. Burial will be private.
