DERRICK ROBINSON Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer and Partner

Derrick has been in the Funeral Service industry since the early 90’s.  He is a 1995 graduate of Gupton Jones college.  He has worked in the Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA.

Derrick's professional experience:

Mahaffey & Cauthen Funeral Homes:

Lancaster, SC  & Kershaw, SC 

Higgins Funeral Home:
Fairburn, GA

Parker White & Pruitt Funeral Home:
Ware Shoals & Honea Path, SC 
Responsible for overseeing daily operations

Gordon Funeral Service, Monroe, NC  
Derrick has gained a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge that will directly benefit the families that come to Palmetto Funeral Home and Cremation Service from Fort Mill, York County and beyond.

Professional license include: 
South Carolina, North Carolina, and Preneed license

Dr. W. Brown Cranford, Jr Funeral Director for Advanced Planning

Dr. W. Brown Cranford, Jr. returns to York County to serve as Funeral Director for Advance Planning at Palmetto Funeral Home. A native of South Carolina, Brown hails from a prominent Western York County family.

 

Brown joins us with many years of advanced planning experience, after serving as a P.A. with the Pathology Group at Richland Memorial Hospital for 15 years. He also served as Assistant Coroner during this time. Brown attended York High School, received his undergraduate degree from Newberry College and attended graduate school at Clemson University. After a one year internship as Manager of John Thomas Funeral Home in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, he received his Ph.D. from the National Academy of Mortuary Sciences in Hot springs, Arkansas. Brown is very community oriented having been involved in church and many local Civic Organizations. He enjoys, playing tennis, auctions, collecting and refinishing antiques.

Brittany has an Associates Applied Science Degree. She attended Piedmont Technical College specializing in Mortuary Science from 2012-2014.

Brenda has worked for Palmetto Funeral Home since August of 2013 when she came here from being a manager of the Fort Mill CVS Pharmacy and also handling the office for her husband's construction company.
